A mounting bracket is provided for attachment to metal store shelving of the type provided, at least along front edge portions thereof, with one or more rows of regularly spaced apertures. The bracket is formed of a rigid metal strip, with lugs at its inner end to engage shelf apertures, and a downwardly curved, semi-cylindrical display mounting portion at the front. The display mounting portion is provided with a forwardly facing opening for receiving a pendant display device. Optionally, other display devices, such as label holders, merchandise display hooks, etc., may be fixed (e.g., by welding) to the front surface region of the bracket. The new bracket is economical yet highly versatile, enabling a variety of special display devices to be derived from a common bracket body.
