A device for detecting the wheel angle of forklift rear wheels is disclosed. A cylinder steers the rear wheels by means of steering mechanisms based on manipulation of a steering wheel. The steering mechanisms include kingpins that support the rear wheels to be rotatable in relation to a rear axle. Each kingpin rotates integrally with the corresponding rear wheel. A wheel angle sensor, which includes a potentiometer, is fixed to the rear axle by a bracket. The position of the sensor corresponds to the position of one of the kingpins. The sensor detects the rotational angle of the kingpin as the wheel angle of the rear wheels.
Dispositif permettant de détecter l'angle des roues arrière d'un chariot élévateur à fourches. Un cylindre oriente les roues arrières au moyen de mécanismes de direction basés sur l'utilisation d'un volant de direction. Les mécanismes de direction comprennent des pivots de fusée qui supportent les roues arrière de façon à ce qu'elles puissent tourner par rapport à l'essieu arrière. Chaque pivot de fusée tourne intégralement avec la roue arrière correspondante. Un détecteur d'angle de roue arrière muni d'un potentiomètre, est fixé à l'essieu arrière au moyen d'un dispositif de fixation. La position du détecteur correspond à la position d'un des pivots de fusée. Le détecteur décèle l'angle de rotation du pivot de fusée et le considère comme l'angle de braquage des roues arrière.
