To realize the reduction of weight and the miniaturization of the mounting structure of a speed reduction device and a brake device. In a vehicle in which a speed reduction device which decreases a rotational speed of a drive wheel is mounted on a vehicle body frame, a brake caliper which applies braking to the rotation of a brake disc mounted on a drive axle is mounted on a casing which constitutes the speed reduction device, and a piston which applies braking to the brake disc by clamping the brake disc is provided to the brake caliper, an axis of the piston, axes, of bolts, as a mounting portion of the brake caliper on the casing, an axis of a bolt as a mounting portion of the casing to the vehicle body frame are arranged on one straight line, and the direction of a braking force which acts on the piston agrees with or is arranged parallel to the direction that the straight line extends.

L'invention porte sur une méthode visant à réduire le poids de la structure de montage d'un dispositif de réduction de la vitesse d'un véhicule et d'un dispositif de freinage par miniaturisation. Dans un véhicule où un dispositif de réduction de la vitesse servant à réduire la vitesse de rotation d'une roue motrice est monté sur l'ossature de la carrosserie d'un véhicule, un étrier de frein applique une force de freinage pour réduire la rotation d'un frein à disque monté sur un essieu moteur installé sur un carter qui forme le dispositif de réduction de la vitesse; un piston qui applique la force de freinage sur le frein à disque en serrant celui-ci est intégré à l'étrier. On trouve un axe de piston, des axes de boulons, ainsi qu'une partie destinée au montage de l'étrier de frein sur le carter, un axe de boulon servant d'élément de montage du carter sur l'ossature de la carrosserie, le tout étant disposé en ligne droite, de sorte que la force de freinage qui s'exerce sur le piston soit dirigée dans le même sens que l'axe du prolongement de la ligne droite ou parallèle à celui-ci.
