A mounting system (1) for a rear-facing, entertainment module (3) such as a digital VHF/UHF television, 3G Internet device, or DVD/CD/game player. The mounting system (1) has first and second, principal sections (5,7) with the first section (5) being securable to the upright posts (8,8') of an automotive headrest (4) and the second section (7) being mounted for pivotal movement relative to the first section (5). The portable entertainment module (3) in turn is then removably attachable to the second section (7) of the mounting system (1) for viewing by a rear-seat passenger. The first section (5) is securely clamped to the upright posts (8,8') in a fixed position and the second section (7) with the entertainment module (3) attached can be pivoted as desired for best viewing by the passenger. In one embodiment, the first and second sections (5,7) are integral with each other. In a second embodiment, the first and second sections (5,7) are releasably securable to each other by a manually operable latching arrangement.
