The present invention provides a tool changer (80) for removal and installation of tools in a machining center (70) having a spindle (72) for holding a tool (24, 73) including a tool rack (20) having a plurality of locations (21) for holding tools and a rotatable arm (30) movable between the spindle and the plurality of locations. Each of the plurality of locations has a clip (22) for holding a tool and each clip has two arms (23) with the arm (23B) on a first side of the clip having and inclined surface (25). The rotatable arm includes at least two grippers (31, 33) with each gripper defining at least one cam surface (34), the cam surface being structured and arranged to engage the inclined surface of the clip to allow for the removal of a tool in the clip.
L'invention concerne un changeur d'outil (80) permettant de retirer et d'installer des outils dans un centre d'usinage (70) comprenant une tige (72) destinée à maintenir un outil (24, 73), notamment un porte-outils (20) présentant une pluralité d'emplacements (21) permettant de maintenir des outils, ainsi qu'un segment rotatif (30) mobile entre la tige et une pluralité d'emplacements. Chaque emplacement comprend un étrier (22) permettant de maintenir un outil et chaque étrier présente deux segments (23), le segment (23B) sur un premier côté de l'étrier présentant une surface inclinée (25). Le segment rotatif comprend au moins deux organes de préhension (31, 33), chacun définissant au moins une surface à cames (34) structurée et disposée de manière à venir en contact avec la surface inclinée de l'étrier, aux fins de retrait d'un outil dans l'étrier.
