MOVABLE PARTITION BASE ATTACHMENT ABSTRACT A base trim attachment assembly is provided for movable partitions comprising retainer clips having formed barbs which are installed into gypsum panels by pressing the barbs into the panels, and having means for receiving a nail which is driven on a downward angle into the panels. The nails prevent outward movement of the clips and the barbs restrict any upward movement which would normally permit loosening of the nails. After the clips are installed, the base is slipped down over the clips until it snaps in place. The present structure permits a very thin base which matches existing moveable partition components.
