A dynamic image distribution system distributes at least one stream to a terminal (103) via a transmission path (104) and a transmission path (105). The dynamic image distribution system includes a conversion device (102) which reports predetermined capability information to the terminal (103), receives at least one stream from a distribution server (101) in which streams are accumulated or receives a plurality of streams from a plurality of distribution servers (101), converts stream syntax so as to be appropriate for the capability information, and transmits the conversion result to the terminal (103) via the transmission path (105).
