An engine starter having an internal liner which carries forward the motor and gear reducing assembly in unison to engage the engine simultaneously providing power to the engine starter. Movement of the liner performs the valving or switching function to permit starter function.

Cette invention concerne un démarreur de moteur comportant une chemise intérieure entraîne le moteur électrique et le réducteur vers l'avant d'un seul bloc pour mettre ce dernier en prise avec le moteur thermique tout en alimentant le moteur du démarreur. Le déplacement de la chemise fait office de commutation pour la mise en marche du démarreur.
