ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A moving time base mean value integrator is disclosed suitable for determining the mean value of a signal from a monitoring device over a moving period of time. The circuit includes a comparison means for comparing an input signal with an output signal to produce a command pulse when the two signals are substantially equal, memory means for responding to the command pulse to produce a memory signal substantially identical with the input signal at the time of the command pulse, summing means for comparing the input signal with the memory signal and producing a difference signal representing the difference bet- ween the input signal and the memory signal, and an integrator means for integrating the difference signal for the time base to produce the output signal. A method is also provided for producing a moving time base mean value signal from an input signal.
