MUD FLAP HOLDER Abstract of the Disclosure A mud flap holder for attachment to trucks and the like includes a bar having a tapered proximal end adapted to be re- ceived in a support bracket, and a pair of coils are integrally formed adjacent to the proximal end. The coils axis is oriented horizontally and longitudinally with respect to the truck. A distal bar portion extends from the coils laterally outwardly from the support bracket. The distal portion is oriented horizontally to support a mud flap, the spring coils absorbing the road shock without fracturing. The distal portion may include an offset portion extending longitudinally and rearwardly to space the mud flaps further rearwardly from the support bracket.
