A mulcher apparatus includes a tractor and a mulcher unit provided to the tractor. The mulcher unit includes a tooth assembly with a holder and a cutter element with a cooperating notch portion and cross bar arrangement. The notch portion can be retrofit to existing holder arrangements. The cutter element may include various features, to enhance cutting efficiency. For example, the cutter elements may include a double-ended structure, a relatively wide serrated cutting edge at one or both ends, carbide coatings, layers or inserts, etc.
La présente invention concerne un appareil de paillage comportant un tracteur et une unité de paillage prévue sur le tracteur. L'unité de paillage comporte une denture avec un support et un élément de coupe ayant une partie d'encoche de coopération et un agencement de traverse. La partie de cran peut être installée après coup à des agencements de support existants. L'élément de coupe peut comporter divers composants pour améliorer l'efficacité de coupe. Par exemple, les éléments de coupe peuvent comporter une structure à double extrémité, une lame de coupe dentée à l'une ou aux deux extrémités, des revêtements à base de carbure, des couches ou des inserts, et analogues.
