A retaining wall block system having multiple sizes and shapes of blocks (100a- 100f, 200a-200e) with differently dimensioned, interchangeable front and back faces. The blocks (100a-100f, 200a-200f) are used to construct an irregularly textured wall having a weathered, natural appearance. Multiple channels (122a, 124a, 126a) in the lower face (104a) of the block are used to engage pins (30) in pin receiving apertures (137a) to form an attachment system. Aside connection system in particularly useful for stabilizing free-standing walls. Horizontal reinforcing members (20) are also used in the channels (122a, 124a, 126a) and vertical reinforcing members (10) are used in cores (116) of adjacent blocks for reinforcing a wall. Reinforcing geosynthetic material (70) can also be firmly held in a wall by means of the pins (30) or by connectors (50) adapted to fit in the block channels.
L'invention concerne un système de bloc mural d'arrêt comportant des blocs de plusieurs tailles et formes dont les faces avant et arrière sont interchangeables et possèdent des dimensions différentes. Ces blocs sont utilisés afin de construire une paroi texturée de façon irrégulière possédant une apparence naturelle, vieillie. Les canaux multiples situés au niveau de la face inférieure du bloc sont utilisés afin de mettre en prise des broches dans des fentes de logement de broche afin de former un système de fixation. Un système de connexion latérale est particulièrement utile afin de stabiliser les parois autoportantes. Les éléments d'armature horizontaux sont également utilisés dans les canaux et des éléments d'armature verticaux sont utilisés dans les noyaux des blocs adjacents afin de renforcer une paroi. Des matériaux géosynthétiques de renforcement peuvent également être contenus dans une paroi au moyen des broches ou des connecteurs conçus pour se loger dans les canaux de bloc.
