A baffle assembly is disposed within a manifold of a multi-circuit heat exchanger for dividing the interior volume of that manifold into a first chamber associated with one circuit and a second chamber associated with another circuit. The baffle assembly includes a pair of baffle members that extend generally transversely across the interior volume of the manifold are dis-posed in spaced apart relationship thereby forming a void space therebetween. The void space is in fluid communication with a re-gion exterior of that manifold whereby any fluid leaking from either of the first or second chamber into the void space will be vented therefrom.

Un montage de chicane est disposé à l'intérieur d'un réceptacle d'un échangeur thermique à circuits multiples afin de diviser le volume intérieur de ce réceptacle en une première chambre associée à un circuit et une seconde chambre associée à un autre circuit. Le montage de chicane inclut une paire d'éléments de chicane qui s'étendent généralement de façon transversale en travers du volume intérieur du réceptacle et sont disposés de manière à être éloignés les uns des autres, ce qui permet de former un espace vide entre ces derniers. L'espace vide est en communication fluidique avec une zone à l'extérieur dudit réceptacle, ce qui permet ainsi d'évacuer tout fluide fuyant de la première ou de la seconde chambre dans l'espace vide.
