A multi-configuration amusement device (100) in the shape of a ball includes a variety of mass components (120, 130, 140) with axially extending cylindrical bores (502, 510, 520), a lock fastener unit (100, 110) having a hollow cylindrical shaft (536), and a hollow cylindrical extension tube (540) with the lock fastener unit and the extension tube operably insertable into the cylindrical bores of the mass components for locking the mass components together in a unitary configuration.
