A finishing mower having multiple decks is provided with a mechanism and drive system which allow at least one of the decks to be raised in order to avoid obstacles and while avoiding the need to cease mowing activities in order to avoid the obstacle. Such deck or decks can be raised to about 90° above horizontal, as well as lowered to below horizontal, for example, about 10° below horizontal. The lift arm for the deck and the mechanical driveline to the deck are each mounted along the same axis of rotation. In addition, an adjustment assembly is provided by which tension within drive members can be adjusted without interfering with the coaxial mounting feature.
La présente invention a pour objet une faucheuse à tabliers multiples comportant un mécanisme de levage conjugué à un système d'entraînement permettant le relevage individuel des tabliers aux fins d'évitement des obstacles et éliminant la nécessité d'interrompre les opérations de fauchage pour éviter les obstacles. Les tabliers en question peuvent être relevés jusqu'à environ 90 degrés au-dessus ou en-dessous de l'horizontale, selon un angle d'environ 10 degrés sous l'horizontale, par exemple. Le bras de levage du tablier ainsi que la chaîne cinématique de chaque tablier sont tous montés sur un même axe de rotation. En outre, l'ensemble de réglage permet de régler la tension des éléments de la chaîne cinématique sans incidence sur le montage coaxial des composants mécaniques.
