Four or more voltage buses (A-D) are connected to groups of lights (L1-116) and four or more ground buses (1-4) each is connected to groups of lights within a large number of lights (11-L16). The voltage and ground buses are separately simultaneously selectively energized by a pulse generating circuit means (ESC 1) in order to produce dynamic decorative patterns of display, particularly for use as Christmas lights.
