A container for condiments includes a container portion having generally planar bottom, a generally parallel flange, a discharge spout, and a sidewall extending between the bottom and the flange. A generally planar cover portion is secured to the flange by an adhesive such that there exists a non-bonded region between the cover and the flange. At least one section of the flange in the non-bonded region is bent downwardly away from the cover portion to form therebetween a finger-access gap. The sidewall includes a front portion disposed below the spout and extending downwardly with respect thereto. The sidewall front portion is configured to prevent the spout from becoming displaced upwardly in response to the sidewall front portion being contacted by the rear portion of another container in a package of the containers.
La présente invention concerne un contenant pour des condiments, lequel contenant comprend une portion contenant présentant un fond généralement plan, un rebord généralement parallèle, un bec de décharge et une paroi latérale qui s'étend entre le fond et le rebord. Une portion couvercle généralement plane est fixée au rebord par un adhésif de telle sorte qu'il existe une zone non scellée entre le couvercle et le rebord. Au moins une section du rebord dans la zone non scellée est recourbée vers le bas à distance de la portion couvercle afin de former entre les deux un espace vide permettant l'accès d'un doigt. La paroi latérale comprend une portion avant disposée sous le bec et s'étendant vers le bas par rapport à ce dernier. La portion avant de la paroi latérale est configurée pour empêcher le bec d'être déplacé vers le haut en réponse à un contact de la portion avant de la paroi latérale par la portion arrière d'un autre contenant dans un emballage de contenants.
