TITLE OF THE INVENTION MULTI-FUNCTION CONNECTING DEVICE FOR A CELLULAR TELEPHONE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multi-function connecting device for connecting a cellular telephone to an external electrical device, such as a facsimile machine, an answering machine and/or a speaker comprises a housing, which consists of a bottom plate and an upper cover, the upper case being fixed on the bottom plate via fasteners, the upper cover further comprising a plurality of openings; a controlling circuit which can be fixed on the bottom cover of the housing and having a plurality of output ports positioned within the openings of the upper cover; a charging circuit which can be fixed on the bottom plate and having a connecting port on the upper surface of the-upper cover; and a charging seat which is removably engaged with the upper cover and electrically connected with the controlling circuit and charging circuit, the charging seat can receive a cellular telephone and charging it via its contacting points, the charging seat further having a connecting port for receiving data transmitted from the cellular telephone.
