A multi-functional label holder, for display of a merchandising label at the front of a display hook, basket tag or the like. The holder is formed of molded plastic and includes a flat panel for adhesively mounting a primary label. Integral clip elements are formed along the top edge of the panel for releasably gripping the upper edge margin of a secondary label, used for temporary sales pricing, for example. The clip elements are located directly opposite openings in the panel, and the side and bottom edges of the clips are within an area bounded by outward projections of the side and bottom edges of said openings. The clip elements have generally tangential sheet-engaging portions forming a clearance space with the front plane of the panel which is slightly less than the thickness of the secondary label. Small displacement bosses project rearwardly from the tangential portions to engage the secondary label and displace it partially into the underlying opening, providing a temporary, releasable attachment.
