A downhole completion method and an expandable filtration apparatus are disclosed. The filter assembly comprises a plurality of layers beginning with a coated perforated base pipe (10). The coating (18) reduces the force required for expansion. A drainage layer (24) overlays the base pipe with the filtration layer (26) above it. The drainage layer improves flow through the filtration layer and protects it from burrs in the base pipe. A filtration enhancement layer fits (32) over the filtration layer and an outer shroud (34) protects the assembly during run in. The assembly can be used as made or expanded downhole in one or a series of expansions.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'achèvement de fond de trou ainsi qu'un appareil de filtration se déployant. Cet ensemble filtre comprend plusieurs couches commençant par un tuyau de base perforé et doté d'un revêtement qui réduit la force requise au déploiement du tuyau. Ce tuyau de base est recouvert d'une couche de drainage, sur laquelle est disposée une couche de filtration. La couche de drainage améliore l'écoulement à travers la couche de filtration et protège cette dernière des ébarbures du tuyau de base. Une couche accroissant la filtration s'ajuste sur la couche de filtration et une gaine extérieure protège l'ensemble pendant sa mise en place. Cet ensemble peut être utilisé tel que fabriqué, ou être déployé en fond de trou, en un déploiement ou en une série de déploiements.
