An ophthalmic endoilluminator has a power supply coupled to a light source, a controller, a collimation device, an alignment device, a lens, and an optical fiber. The light source has three light emitting diodes. Each of the three light emitting diodes produces a different color light. The controller controls the operation of the three light emitting diodes. The collimation device collimates the light produced by at least one of the light emitting diodes. The alignment device aligns the light individually produced by the three light emitting diodes into a single light beam. The lens focuses the single light beam. The optical fiber for carries the single light beam.
L'invention concerne un endo-illuminateur ophtalmique comportant une alimentation électrique couplée à une source de lumière, une unité de commande, un dispositif de collimation, un dispositif d'alignement, une lentille et une fibre optique. La source de lumière comporte trois diodes électroluminescentes. Chacune des trois diodes électroluminescentes produit une lumière de couleur différente. L'unité de commande commande le fonctionnement des trois diodes électroluminescentes. Le dispositif de collimation collimate la lumière produite par au moins l'une des diodes électroluminescentes. Le dispositif d'alignement aligne la lumière produite individuellement par les trois diodes électroluminescentes en un seul faisceau de lumière. La lentille focalise le seul faisceau lumineux. La fibre optique est destinée à porter le seul faisceau lumineux.
