ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multi level childrens' puzzle set comprised of a plurality of puzzle frames and bases each of which form a shallow, reversible, generally square shaped container into which are inserted a plurality of puzzle elements, each of which is a constituent part of an overall pattern or scene. The puzzle elements associated with any given puzzle are generally square or rectangular in shape and of equal dimensions and may include raised or depressed pattern segments upon one surface. The thickness of the puzzle elements is such that when inserted into a frame, they form a platform over which another puzzle frame may be located thus providing a method of stacking one puzzle upon another puzzle.
