Multi-membered vehicle, especially articulated bus, with an articulated connection between two vehicle members (21, 22) which contains a rotary mount. The vehicle members are connected to one another in an essentially torsion-resistant manner about the longitudinal axis. On an uneven ground, therefore, high torsional forces must be transmitted via the rotary mount. Whereas, in conventional rotary mounts, the rings (1, 3) forming the rotary mount are stabilised in relation to these forces as a result of their connection to crosspieces, according to the invention the outer rotary ring (1) of the rotary mount is provided with sufficient rigidity to form this crosspiece itself. A reduction of the constructional height and a simplification of the construction are achieved thereby.

Cette invention concerne un véhicule à sections multiples, en particulier un autobus articulé, dont les sections (21, 22) sont reliées par accouplement articulé comportant un joint rotatif. Les sections du véhicule sont reliées l'une à l'autre de manière à résister essentiellement à la torsion autour de l'axe longitudinal. Sur terrain inégal, les forces de torsion importantes doivent par conséquent être transmises par l'intermédiaire du joint tournant. Contrairement aux anneaux (1, 3) des joints tournants classiques dont la stabilisation par rapport à ces forces vient de leur raccordement à éléments transversaux, l'anneau extérieur (1) selon la présente invention affiche une rigidité suffisante pour permettre de se passer d'un élément transversal.
