ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A counting apparatus for an automatic reproduction machine is disclosed, wherein copies of different sizes may be produced. Signals are produced therefor separately in accordance with the size of the documents being reproduced with counting means being provided which are responsive to the signals, which count the number of items produced in the separate sizes. The count may be translated into a billing scheme where each copy size is billed accordingly.
