A buck converter (100) for providing an output voltage (Vout) to a load (135), including a plurality of output switch arrangements (120a-120n) having respective output inductors coupled to an output capacitor (125), the switch arrangements (120a-120n) being controllable to provide phase output currents to the output capacitor (125), a plurality of phase output arrangements (110a- 110n) respectively coupled to the output switch arrangements(120a-120n), the phase output arrangements (110a-110n); being controllable to set the respective phase output currents supplied by the output switch arrangements (120a-120n); a phase control bus (115) communicatively coupled to each of the phase output arrangements (110a-110n); and a phase control arrangement (105) communicatively coupled to the phase control bus (115), the phase control arrangement (105) being configured to control the phase output arrangements (110a-110n) to set the respective phase output currents so that the output voltage (Vout) approximates the desired voltage; wherein the phase control arrangement and the phase output arrangements (105) are provided as respective integrated circuits.
La présente invention concerne un convertisseur abaisseur de tension permettant de fournir une tension de sortie à une charge, qui comprend une pluralité d'agencements de commutateurs de sortie possédant des bobines d'induction de sortie respectives couplées à un condensateur de sortie, ces agencements de commutateurs étant commandables de façon à fournir des courants de sorties de phase vers le condensateur de sortie, une pluralité d'agencements de sortie de phase respectivement couplés aux agencements de commutateurs de sortie, l'agencement de sortie de phase étant commandable de façon à fixer les courants de sortie de phase respectifs fournis par les agencement de commutateurs de sortie, un bus de commande de phase couplé en communication avec chaque agencement de sortie de phase, et un agencement de commande de phase couplé en communication avec ce bus de commande de phase, l'agencement de commande de phase étant configuré de façon à commander les agencements de sortie de phase afin de fixer les courants de sortie de phase respectifs de sorte que la tension de sortie soit approximativement égale à la tension souhaitée. L'agencement de commande de phase et les agencements de sortie de phase sont prévus sous la forme de circuits intégrés respectifs.
