The invention relates to a rotary multi-phase electrical motor wherein stator teeth corresponding to one same phase are grouped on a distinct and magnetically isolated stator section. The number of teeth per stator section is an odd number of a value of at least three and the difference between the total number of stator teeth and the number of rotor permanent magnet poles is one. The teeth are preferably equidistantly distributed along the stator. The invention also relates to a wheel motor using the rotary multi-phase electrical motor described above.

L'invention concerne un moteur électrique multiphase rotatif selon lequel des dents de stator correspondant à une même phase sont regroupées sur une section de stator distincte isolée magnétiquement. Le nombre de dents par section de stator est un nombre impair d'une valeur d'au moins trois et la différence entre le nombre total de dents de stator et le nombre de pôles magnétiques permanents de rotor vaut un. Les dents sont de préférence distribuées de manière équidistante le long du stator. L'invention concerne également un moteur de roue utilisant le moteur électrique multiphase rotatif décrit ci-dessus.
