ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bag that can be unfolded to be used as a mat or a tarp. The bag includes a zipper located on the outer edges of a flexible sheet. The zipper can fasten a first portion of the sheet to a second portion of the sheet to form the inner cavity of a bag which is large enough to carry tools and other similar items. In the unfolded position the sheet can function as a mat. The flexible sheet has a PVC outer surface that can be placed in contact with the ground and is rugged enough to withstand extended use. The flexible sheet also contains apertures along the outer edge of the sheet. The apertures may receive the ends of bungy cords or ropes that are attached to the top of an automobile. The unfolded sheet can thus function as a protective tarp for luggage located on top of the vehicle.
