A hand operated utility cart (1) with an extended handle assembly (52) capable of supporting extra long loads. The cart includes a kick stand (54, 48), allowing for a level cart, a curved handle bar (56, 57) with a threaded aperture (57a), and a hand broke system (58). The cart can be quickly broken down and reassembled, and may be provided with a basket or a hitch for connection to a vehicle. The height of the cart may be adjustable.
