This invention relates to a hand-held framing tool (10) especially suitable for the insertions of nails (27) into picture frames (14) and the like. It comprises a spring (20) actuated magnet (17) in the central bore (18) of the tool (10), a portion of the magnet extending forwardly of an anvil head (19) and being adapted to receive and retain "V" nails for joining the comers of the frame. The anvil head also has at least one blind groove or slot (28) for receiving the head portion of a nail or flexi-point which is held by the magnet. All nails are inserted in the work by the anvil (19) as the tool (10) is pushed forward towards the work surface and the magnet (17) is pushed into the bore (18).

Cette invention concerne un outil à main (10) d'assemblage de cadres conçu particulièrement pour introduire des clous (27) à l'intérieur d'encadrements (14) et analogues. Cet outil comporte un aimant (17) actionné par un ressort (20) et disposé à l'intérieur de son alésage central (18), une partie dudit aimant faisant saillie vers l'avant d'une tête d'enclume (19) et permettant de loger et de retenir des clous en "V" destinés à l'assemblage des angles de l'encadrement. La tête d'enclume possède en outre au moins une fente (28) ou rainure aveugle conçue pour loger la tête d'un clou ou d'une pointe flexible maintenue par l'aimant. On introduit tous les clous à l'intérieur des cadres au moyen de l'enclume (19) lorsqu'on pousse l'outil (10) en avant en direction de la surface de travail et que l'on déplace l'aimant (17) à l'intérieur de l'alésage (18).
