- 43 - ABSTRACT AN AMPHIBIOUS TRANSPCRTER An amphibious transporter having a frame assembly comprising four spaced-apart leg post members 518 each extending substantially vertically and carrying a wheel assembly pivotally mounted to allow steering of the transporter. The leg post members are interconnected by two longitudinally-extending frame members 504 and two transversely-extending frame members 510,512. A plurality of flotation cells 522 are attached to the longitudinally extending frame members in such a manner as to allow flexing of the frame assembly when the vehicle is in use.
