ABSTRACT A modular electrical connector includes a cell having a plurality of walls defining a receiving area therebetween and a plurality of electrical contact carrying modules receivable in the receiving area, each having a first wall adjacent a cell wall and a second wall spaced from any other cell wall, Each module is secured to the cell tri- dimensionally, and independently of any other module, through appropriate securement means on the cell walls and each first module wall. The connector is easily and accurately assembled or disassembled.
