A process for hydroprocessing middle distillate petroleum streams in two temperature stages is disclosed. The feedstream (11) is hydroprocessed in two or more first temperature stages operated at a temperature from about 360 to about 450 degrees celsius. The reaction product (13) of the first temperature stage(s) is quenched to a temperature from about 260 to about 350 degrees celsius, stripped of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and other dissolved gases to form a reaction product (17) which is sent to a second temperature stage which is operated at said quenched temperature range. The product from the second temperature stage is also stripped of dissolved gases in a stripping zone (16b). Color bodies produced in the higher temperature first stage are hydrogenated in the last stage.
L'invention concerne l'hydrotraitement des flux pétroliers de distillat moyen en deux stades de température. Un flux d'alimentation (11) subit l'hydrotraitement en deux ou plus deux stades de température dans une gamme de températures comprises entre environ 360 DEG C et environ 450 DEG C. Le produit de réaction (13) du ou des premiers stades de température est refroidi à une température comprise entre environ 260 DEG C et environ 350 DEG C, débarrassé du sulfure d'hydrogène, de l'ammoniac et autres gaz dissous, ce qui donne un produit de réaction (17) traité ensuite en un second stade de température correspondant à ladite gamme de températures de refroidissement. Le produit résultant est également débarrassé des gaz dissous, dans une colonne annexe (16b). Les corps colorés produits au premier stade de température supérieure sont hydrogénés au cours du dernier stade.
