MULTI STATION TELEPHONE SWITCHING SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A switching system establishes telephone communication over a standard telephone line by directly connecting a telephone station to a selected one of a plurality of standard telephone lines. The switching system comprises a plurality of pairs of contacts with respective pairs connected to respective ones of such lines and a plurality of relay coils with respective ones controlling respective pairs of the contacts to be opened or closed. A plurality of pushbutton switches are connected to the telephone station with respective ones of the switches connected with a respective one of the relay coils and being depressed for energizing a selected one of the relay coils for closing a corresponding pair of contacts to allow the telephone communication. A display device is connected to the pushbutton switches for displaying which of the telephone lines is directly connected to the telephone station. - 1 -
