Abstract In a multichamber container (1), within which there is a chamber separation wall (4) that can move through both chambers and incorporates at least one opening (8), which forms a connection between the adjacent chambers (2, 3) and works in conjunction with a shutoff element that can be opened and shut from the outside by means of a pushrod (10), the chamber separation wall (4) that is sealed against the inner side of the container being movable through the container (1), according to the present invention the opening (a) in the chamber separation wall (4) is incorporated to accommodate a thread of a valve spindle (23) that can be turned in with the pushrod, which ends at a stop (24) that works in conjunction with a side (26) of the chamber separation wall (4) and on a valve plate (32) that is formed from a ring (32) of the rod, and seals the opposite side (35) of the chamber separation wall (4); the valve plate (24) and the stop (32) can be positioned on their seats (27, 23) by alternating rotation of the rod (10) and the valve plate (32) closes the connection between the two chambers (2, 3) which is open when the valve plates (24, 32) are raised and is formed by longitudinal grooves (28, 31) of the valve spindle (23) which extend as far as the stop (24) on the unattached end of the spindle (23) and end at a distance from the valve plate (32) formed from the ring (32).
