A fibre comprising a polymer core (I) extending along the fibre and a coat (II) which surrounds said core (I) and is chemically different from said core (I), characterized in that the coat (II) is based on a polyamide which contains a sterically hindered piperidine derivative (III) which is chemically bound to the polymer chain.

L'invention concerne une fibre qui comporte un noyau (I), s'étendant le long de la fibre et constitué d'un polymère, et une gaine (II), chimiquement différente dudit noyau (I) et entourant ce dernier (I). L'invention est caractérisée en ce que ladite gaine (II) est à base d'un polyamide contenant un dérivé de pipéridine (III) stériquement empêché et chimiquement lié à la chaîne polymère.
