A composition comprising Transferrin binding proteins A and B is described (TbpA and TbpB). The composition is suitable for use in vaccines and for treatment of Gram negative bacterial infection, particularly meningococcal infection, demonstrating a broad spectrum of protection to a number of different bacterial pathogens. Also described are compositions comprising Tbps and other components, such as neisserial outer membrane vesicles and Cu,Zn- Superoxide dismutase. Methods for preparation of these compositions and their uses in vaccination against disease are further provided.
La présente invention concerne une composition comprenant des protéines de liaison A et B de la transferrine (TbpA et TbpB). Cette composition convient pour des vaccins et le traitement d'infections bactériennes à germes gram négatif, en particulier d'infections méningoccociques et assure une protection à large spectre contre un certain nombre de différents agents pathogènes d'origine bactérienne. L'invention porte également sur des compositions qui renferment des Tbps et autres composants, telses vésicules de membrane externe de la neisseria et la Cu, Zn-superoxyde dismutase. L'invention concerne par ailleurs des méthodes de préparation de ces compositions et leurs utilisations dans le cadre de vaccinations.
