A pair of multifocal contact lenses (200) customized for a patient. A first corneal contact lens and a second corneal contact lens each have an anterior side with a power curve defined in part by (i) a central surface (202), (ii) an inner annular surface (204) contiguous with the central surface (202), (iii) a second annular surface (206) contiguous along a radially inner periphery (208) with inner annular surface (204), and optionally (iv) an outer annular surface (210) contiguous along a radially inner periphery (212) with the second annular surface (206). Each of the annular surfaces (204 and 210) is concentric or coaxial with central surface (202). The central surface (202) corresponds to a distant vision correction zone, while inner annular surface (204) corresponds to an intermediate vision correction zone, second annular surface (206) corresponds to a near distance correction zone and outer annular surface (210) corresponds to another distant vision correction zone.
Cette invention se rapporte à une paire de lentilles de contact multifocales (200), personnalisées selon les besoins du patient. Cette paire de lentilles est constituée par une première lentille de contact cornéenne et par une seconde lentille de contact cornéenne, ayant chacune une face antérieure présentant une courbe de puissance définie en partie par: (i) une surface centrale (202), (ii) une surface annulaire interne (204) adjacente à la surface centrale (202), (iii) une seconde surface annulaire (206) adjacente à la surface annulaire interne (204) sur un périmètre radialement interne (208), et, éventuellement, (iv) une surface annulaire externe (210) adjacente à la seconde surface annulaire (206) sur un périmètre radialement interne (212). Chacune de ces surfaces annulaires (204 et 210) est concentrique ou coaxiale par rapport à la surface centrale (202). La surface centrale (202) correspond à une zone de correction pour la vision de loin, tandis que la surface annulaire interne (204) correspond à une zone de correction pour la vision à distance intermédiaire, la seconde surface annulaire (206) correspond à une zone de correction pour la vision à distance rapprochée et la surface annulaire externe (210) correspond à une autre zone de correction pour la vision de loin.
