The invention relates to multifunction joystick for a snow groomer adapted to selectively control a plurality of independent functions of the snow groomer. More specifically, the multifunction joystick is adapted to select one specific function and apply the movements of the joystick to that particular specific function. If a new function is selected, the movements of the joystick are applied to the newly selected function while disabling the previously selected function or the default function of the multifunction joystick. From a single joystick, the operator may control most of the work implements of the vehicle.
