The present invention provides a showerhead that allows a bather to switch among at least three different water delivery functions. In the first function, the showerhead delivers a concentrated fluttering spray at a rate not to exceed 7,57 L/min (2.0 GPM). In the second function, the showerhead delivers a combined spray pattern, wherein the fluttering spray and a radially dispersed precision spray are simultaneously delivered to the bather at a rate not to exceed 9,46 L/min (2.5 GPM) for the combined water flow. In the third function, the showerhead delivers the precision spray pattern at a rate not to exceed 9,46 L/min (2.5 GPM). The combination spray pattern is effected without compromising either the desirable massaging and cleaning effect of water delivery or the inherent water conservation benefits. In addition, the showerhead of the present invention provides an automatic return feature for return of the showerhead to the first function when water pressure to the showerhead falls below a predetermined bottom threshold.
L'invention concerne une pomme de douche qui permet à l'utilisateur de choisir entre au moins trois fonctions différentes de jet d'eau. Selon la première fonction, la pomme de douche distribue un jet pulsant concentré à un débit ne dépassant pas 7,57 L/min. Selon la deuxième fonction, la pomme de douche distribue un jet selon un motif combiné, le jet pulsant et un jet précis à dispersion radiale aspergeant simultanément l'utilisateur à un débit ne dépassant pas 9,46 L/min pour l'écoulement d'eau combiné. Selon la troisième fonction, la pomme de douche distribue selon le motif du jet de précision à un débit ne dépassant pas 9,46 L/min. Le motif combiné de jet est réalisé sans compromettre ni l'effet souhaitable de massage et de nettoyage du jet d'eau, ni les avantages intrinsèques d'économie d'eau. En outre, la pomme de douche selon l'invention est équipée d'une fonction de retour automatique permettant le retour de la pomme de douche à la première fonction lorsque la pression d'eau arrivant à la pomme de douche passe en dessous d'un seuil inférieur prédéterminé.
