The present invention is directed to a multifunctional tool for use with a robotic manipulator in the depalletising of palletised loads. The multifunctional tool of the present invention enables a single robot or other manipulator to perform each of the operations necessary to achieve depalletisation of a palletised load, in one position, without the need to move the palletised load from one station to another.
