A multifunction watch provides, plural words, each word supporting one or more modes of operation within the word. Separate configurations can be maintained for each word and separate navigation menus can be provided for each word. Modes of operation may be configurable. Duplicate words and duplicate modes within words are provided. In certain embodiments a desired word can be selected by manipulating a bezel. In some embodiments the bezel rotates to engage and activate one of a plurality of switches, thereby selecting a corresponding word. Each word operates independently of other words and some functions can be shared between words and between modes within words. An example is described in which a multimode watch provides four words including TIME, RIDE, COMPASS and SPEED.
La présente invention concerne une montre multifonctions, comprenant une pluralité d'univers, chaque univers supportant un ou des modes de fonctionnement dans l'univers. Des configurations distinctes peuvent être maintenues pour chaque univers et des menus de navigation distincts peuvent être fournis pour chaque univers. Des modes de fonctionnement peuvent être configurables. Des univers dédoublés et des modes dédoublés dans des univers sont fournis. Dans certains modes de réalisation un univers souhaité peut être sélectionné par la manipulation d'une lunette.
