Multifunctional and multivalent angiogenesis inhibitors are made up of fusion proteins comprising a polypeptide which recognizes and blocks a functionally active region of a molecule involved in the angiogenesis process and a polypeptide comprising an oligomerization domain and functionally active, inhibitor or modulator region of the angiogenesis process, separated by a proteinase-sensitive region. These inhibitors are applicable in treating and preventing pathologies occurring with angiogenesis process, for example cancer, rheumatic arthritis or psoriasis.

L'invention concerne des inhibiteurs d'angiogenèse multifonctionnels et polyvalents constitués de protéines de fusion comprenant un polypeptide qui reconnaît et bloque une zone fonctionnellement active d'une molécule impliquée dans le processus d'angiogenèse et un polypeptide comprenant un domaine d'oligomérisation et une zone inhibitrice ou modulatrice fonctionnellement active du processus de d'angiogenèse, séparés par une zone sensible à la protéinase. Ces inhibiteurs sont applicables lors du traitement et de la prévention de pathologies survenant avec le processus d'angiogenèse, par exemple le cancer, l'arthrite rhumatismale ou le psoriasis.
