The present invention relates to a multifunctional flower pot comprising two pot sections, each having a base and at least two side walls to define an enclosed space open at the top, one of said side walls on each pot section having attachment means located on said side wall of each of the pot halves to permit the pot halves sections to be easily joined and separated wherein the attachment means comprises a pair of magnets secured to the said side wall of each of said pot sections opposite said magnets on the side wall of the other pot section.
