An oxygen and moisture impermeable multilayer barrier film was provided including a barrier layer comprising a homopolymer of vinylidene chloride or a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride or methyl methacrylate. The barrier layer may be coated onto or coextruded with a water soluble film layer comprising a blend of a water soluble polymer such as polyvinyl alcohol, polycaprolactone, or polyethyloxozaline and a thermoplastic polyurethane. The multilayer film may be used for reusable or disposable ostomy bags and for heat sealable bags used in packaging agricultural chemicals, detergents, and other household chemicals.
L'invention concerne un film à couches multiples imperméable à l'oxygène et à l'humidité ayant une couche-barrière comprenant un homopolymère de chlorure de vinylidène ou un copolymère de chlorure de vinylidène et de chlorure de vinyle ou de méthacrylate de méthyle. La couche-barrière peut être recouverte ou coextrudée avec un film hydrosoluble constitué d'un mélange d'un polymère hydrosoluble, tel qu'un polyvinyle alcool, une polycaprolactone ou une polyéthyloxozaline, et d'un polyuréthanne thermoplastique. Le film à couches multiples peut être utilisé pour réaliser des sacs pour stomies à usage unique ou réutilisables et pour réaliser des sacs thermosoudables destinés au conditionnement de produits chimiques pour l'agriculturue, de détergents ou d'autres préparations chimiques à usage domestique.
