ABSTRACT H 35509 "MULTILAYER FILM" A multilayer film comprises a substrate layer of polymeric material having on a first surface thereof a polyester heat-sealable layer, and on a second surface thereof a thermoset acrylic resin backing layer. The backing layer is preferably a discontinuous coating. The heat-sealable layer is optionally coated with a release layer, preferably a polyurethane resin release layer.
