- 21 - Multilayer Films Comprising Mixtures of 1 Melt Index and 2 Melt Index Linear Low Density Polyethylene Abstract A multilayer film suitable for use in the manufacture of garbage and trash bags wherein the first outer layer comprises a blend of a low pressure, low density polyethylene having a melt index of about 1 decigram per minute and a low pressure, low density polyethylene having a melt index of about 2 decigrams per minute. The second outer layer is made with a high pressure, low density polyethylene.
