A card, in particular credit card, identity card, bank card or the like is proposed that includes a plurality of laminated layers between which a security element with a relief structure, in particular holographic diffraction structures, is embedded. The ma-terials are selected so that the softening temperature of the security element layer hav-ing the relief structure has a higher softening temperature than the card layers between which the security element is laminated. This permits the multilayer laminated card to be produced by conventional laminating methods without appreciably impairing the relief structure by the pressures and temperatures thereby occurring. Special combina-tions of materials and in particular suitable materials for the layer having the relief structure are proposed.
L'invention concerne une carte, notamment une carte de crédit, une carte d'identité, une carte bancaire ou similaire, qui présente plusieurs couches stratifiées (10, 11) entre lesquelles est incorporé un élément de sécurité (2) à structures en relief, notamment à structures de diffraction holographique. Les matériaux utilisés sont sélectionnés de sorte que la température de ramollissement de la couche (21) de l'élément de sécurité (2), présentant la structure en relief, soit supérieure à celle des couches des cartes, entre lesquelles est incorporé l'élément de sécurité (2). A cet effet, la carte stratifiée multicouche peut être produite selon un procédé de stratification classique, sans que les pressions et les températures produites pendant cette opération n'altèrent notablement la structure en relief. Des combinaisons particulières de matériau et notamment des matériaux appropriés pour la couche (21) comportant la structure en relief (2) sont également décrits.
