A microwave coupler (200) in a multilayer, vertically connected stripline architecture provided in the form of a microwave integrated circuit that has a homogeneous, multilayer structure. Such a coupler has multiple sets of stripline layers separated by interstitial groundplanes (232, 262, 282) and wherein more than one set of layers has a segment of coupled stripline. A typical implementation operates at frequencies from approximately 0.5 to 6 GHz although other frequencies are achievable.

L'invention concerne un coupleur hyperfréquence (200) construit en une architecture de lignes microruban connectées verticalement, multicouche, se présentant sous la forme d'un circuit intégré hyperfréquence à structure multicouche homogène. Ledit coupleur possède plusieurs ensembles de couches de lignes microruban séparées par des plaques de masse (232, 262, 282) interstitielles dans lesquelles plus d'un ensemble de couche possède un segment de ligne microruban couplée. Un fonctionnement type s'effectue à des fréquences comprises environ entre 0,5 et 6 GHz, encore que d'autres fréquences puissent être obtenues.
