ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multilayer packaging film is provided comprising a first layer comprising a material selected from the group con- sisting of an acid copolymer, a very low density linear polyeth- ylene (VLDPE) and blends thereof; a second layer comprising ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer with nine to fifteen percent by weight vinyl acetate, with narrow molecular weight distribution, and a high degree of short chain branching; a third layer com- prising a barrier copolymer; a fourth layer comprising ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer with nine to fifteen percent by weight vinyl acetate, with narrow molecular weight distribution and a high degree of short chain branching; and a fifth layer compris- ing a very low density linear polyethylene (VLDPE). 3/920527.4/SPECFLDR
