Shoe comprising, on the one hand, a sole system (2) consisting of at least two layers, namely a wear layer (3) and a layer of nerve (4), and on the other hand, a reinforcing component (20) attached to the nerve layer (4) of the said sole system (2). It is distinctive in that the reinforcing component (20) is attached to the nerve layer (4) in an area (24) between the heel (22) and the front end (23) of the sole system (2) and extends freely along one side (12, 12')of the upper (10) as far as the rear section (21), and in that a comfort layer (5) is placed between the wearer's foot and the nerve layer (4). The invention provides excellent lateral support for the foot but does not interfere with the shock absorbing function of the comfort layer (5), and also allows the heel of the sole system (2) to flex freely.

Chaussure comportant, d'une part, un semelage (2) réalisé en au moins deux couches, soit une couche d'usure (3) et une couche nerf (4), et d'autre part, un élément de renfort (20) qui est couplé à la couche nerf (4) dudit semelage (2). Elle se caractérise par le fait que l'élément de renfort (20) est couplé à la couche nerf (4) dans une région (24) située entre le talon (22) et le bout antérieur (23) du semelage (2), et qu'il s'étend librement sur au moins un flanc (12 ,12') de la tige (10) jusque dans la région postérieure (21), et par le fait qu'une couche de confort (5) est interposée entre le pied de l'utilisateur et la couche nerf (4). L'invention procure une excellente tenue latérale du pied sans qu'il y ait d'interférence avec l'amortissement sur la couche de confort (5), et ce en laissant le talon du semelage (2) libre de fléchir.
